CLEVELAND, OH – April 5, 2010 – Lucky Day Studio, a print+pattern design studio, will host a booth at the international SURTEX 2010 tradeshow May 16-18 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
SURTEX is the only tradeshow dedicated to the sale and licensing of original art and design, showcasing the year's hottest trends, newest designs and most cutting-edge resources from around the world.
Lucky Day opened shop at Surtex in 2009 and it proved successful, landing the studio several new customers and a contract with Design Design, Inc. for a piece the social expression company is showcasing at the 2010 show.
With over 35 years of combined experience in the social expression industry, there’s more than luck behind Lucky Day Studio. There are two lucky gals – founders Julia Briggs and Donna Catanese -- who share the same love for illustration, color, whimsical linework, design trends, and gift-giving.
“We’ve spent this past year creating many fresh new looks and building on those that were well received last year at Surtex,” says Donna. “We shifted our focus over the year to produce more custom work for our clients and we are so thrilled to see these custom pieces succeed at retail.”
