Amy Gorrek is the owner of Studio AG, a small company with big talent; providing graphic design and branding services to small businesses in a thoughtfully crafted manner. Amy’s work has been recognized by the AIGA, HOW Magazine, Black Book AR100, and Lovely Package. Amy currently lives in Norwalk, Connecticut with her husband and daughter, Silvie.

What do you need to know about Amy? She is a lover of printmaking & collage, a collector of vintage & tattered treasures, and a sipper of strong Irish tea. She is continually looking to work on great projects with super people.

andie hanna

Andie Hanna is the owner of Andie Hanna Textile Design and Illustration. Her journey has taken her coast to coast working in Los Angeles as a Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist and in NYC as a Design Director, responsible for some of the nations top brands like Disney, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.  In between coasts, she worked for JCPenney (Arizona Jean Company), Limited Too, Mossimo Girls at Target and most recently as the head designer at Thirty-One Gifts.  A few years ago, Andie  decided to leave the corporate environment and follow her dreams, going out on her own.

What do you need to know about Andie? Andie is the fastest designer we've ever met.  We can barely keep up with her.  She currently lives in Columbus, OH with her husband, Josh, son Emerson, daughter Elle and 2 dogs Ouzo and Teddy.

donna catanese

Donna is the co owner of Lucky Day Studio. When she is not creating fun and whimsical illustrations for children’s educational market, Donna is whipping up fun characters and patterns for the print+pattern market.  She designs and illustrates original concepts and is a pro at handmade embellishments, unique folds and pop-ups.

What do you need to know about Donna?  She secretly dreams of being a travel planner in NYC.

For most of her career, Janet has been creating art for greeting cards and in recent years has added designs for gift packaging, party goods, fabric design, gift and home décor. Her art for the juvenile and nursery market will especially warm your heart. She has lived in northeast Ohio her entire life. Throughout the years, with her husband and two now grown daughters, she has enjoyed and been inspired by all it has to offer from the cities and parks to the small towns and countryside.

What do you need to know about Janet:
Don’t be fooled by her name. Her heritage is Italian and she loves to cook and bake as much as creating art all of which she hopes will make people happy..

Julia is co owner of Lucky Day Studio luckily with one of her very best friends, Donna Catanese. When she isn't running her graphic design / web studio, renovating her Victorian house, or rushing after her twins, she is dreaming up a fun piece of art or marketing idea for Lucky Day.

What do you need to know about Julia?  She knows how to fit an entire tradeshow booth in a suitcase.

If Kellie's work looks familiar to you, it's because she's the owner of Two Pooch Paperie, a fabulous online store offering custom invitations, stationery, stickers, printable party invitations, favor tags, calendars, greeting cards and full wedding collections.  We've had the pleasure of working with Kellie for many years, but this year we are the lucky ones who get bring her work to Surtex for all of you.

What do you need to know about Kellie?  She has an infectious laugh and awesome sense of humor that is easily infused into each piece she touches.

Rachel creates whimsical, cute, fun designs that will make you smile. Her love for design is innate as she grew up surrounded in artistry. "My Nana, Elsie, cultivated my creativity. Nana was an amazing woman who would have me practice drawing straight lines. She was undeniably sweet.
